This adorable appetizer board is handcrafted from reclaimed red wine barrel staves sourced from wineries around the Napa Valley. It is a unique piece & the perfect way to display sushi, tapas, cheese, fresh fruit or anything else you can imagine. TECHNIQUE: Each one is meticulously sanded smooth & treated with three coats of food-safe butcher block conditioner (mineral oil, Vitamin E, beeswax, & carnauba wax) which rejuvenates & protects the wood. OPTIONS: Please note that the color may vary slightly due to the nature of oak & the red wine stored inside. If you would prefer no red at all, please mention that when you place your order. The Original version means that we flatten the bottom for stability & the Footed version means we adhere 3 rounded wooden feet added to the base. CARE: Please hand wash in a mild, soapy water & apply food-safe mineral oil or butcher block conditioner occasionally, depending on usage.
