The design takes inspiration from the features of classic painters’ trousers, including the use of sturdy canvas, slit pockets, and volume for mobility. Contemporary elements are added with an oversized and tapered silhouette, taut textile, darts, and a cropped length. Ethical and refined elements are imparted by the use of the finest 100% organic cotton fabrics. Rose Madder textile is dyed with natural madder roots, which is a traditional Japanese herbal dyeing technique. The original heather colour is achieved by weaving the canvas fabric from the unevenly-dyed threads, beautifully transforming the subtle hues as light and perspective shift. The liner is crafted from a comfortable and premium 100% organic cotton typewriter textile from a renowned Japanese textile manufacturer. The colour of this garment will change over time due to the use of chemical-free natural herbal dye. Although the fabric is UV-cut treated, prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or fluorescent light can cause the colour to fade. To retain the original colour for as long as possible, please store in a place away from light. As for cleaning, please refer to the washing instructions tag attached inside the garment.
